Radiator — removal and installation (Discovery 1)

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Disconnect the lower radiator hose and drain the coolant.

3. Remove the lower radiator hose.



4. Remove the upper radiator hose.

5. Disconnect the air duct between the filter and the throttle body from the brackets.

6. Remove the bypass hose from the radiator.

7. Disconnect the upper hose of the expansion tank from the radiator.

8. Unscrew the two bolts securing the side radiator supports.

9. Remove the radiator supports.



10. Remove the heater hose from the radiator.



11. Disconnect the two fan connectors.



12. Remove the radiator together with the fans.

13. Unscrew the two bolts of the water collection pipe to the radiator.

14. Remove the water collection tube.



15. Unscrew the 8 fan frame mounting nuts. Note: Models without air conditioning are equipped with one fan.

16. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
