Driver Seat Module (DSM) (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Remove the front seat cushion access cover. Release the 4 clips.

ATTENTION: Pay attention to the wiring harness layout.

NOTE: Raise the seat base to gain access.

Remove the driver's seat module.

• Remove 2 Torx head screws.
• Release the wiring harness clamp.
• Disconnect 5 electrical connectors.

Installation

CAUTION: Make sure the wiring harnesses are positioned correctly.

Install the driver's seat module.

• Connect the electrical connectors.
• Secure the wiring harness clamp.
• Insert and tighten the Torx head screws.

2. Install the access cover. Secure with 4 clips.

3. Perform initialization if a new module has been installed. Using each adjustment switch in turn, move the seat fully in all directions.
