Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the generator.
3. Disconnect all electronic units.
4. Remove the left and right engine compartment mudguards.
5. Remove the front bumper.

6. Remove the front bumper beam.
7. Remove the radiator.
COOLING SYSTEM: MOD. K, KV6 engine, REPAIR WORK, Radiator assembly.
8. Remove the power steering fluid cooler.
STEERING, Steering gear, Power steering fluid cooler (for models with Td4 or K1.8 engine).
9. Release the left and right headlight wire harnesses and move them to the side.
Repair works


1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Body Panel Repair Guidelines. Punch or drill holes in the panel to be installed for the plug weld as shown in the figure. The front lower crossmember assembly is supplied with only a limited number of spot welds. Make sure that the required number of plug welds are installed in place of the missing welds as shown in the figure below.
Assembly
1. Secure the left and right headlight wire harnesses.

2. Install the power steering fluid cooler.

3. Install the radiator.
