In this operation, the front outer body side panel is replaced together with the inner A-pillar panel and the A-pillar reinforcement panels.
Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the generator.
3. Disconnect all electronic units.
4. Remove the wheel(s).
5. Remove the front wheel arch liner.

6. Remove the front fender.

7. Remove the front door.

8. Remove the front seat.

9. Remove the control panel.

10. Remove the air supply duct to face level.
11. Remove the headliner.

12. Remove the windshield.

13. Remove the front door sill trim. Release the front floor mat and move it to the side.
14. Remove the door opening seal.
15. Remove the engine compartment bulkhead insulation.
16. Driver's side: Remove the passenger compartment fuse/relay box.
Repair works
1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Body Panel Repair Rules. Punch or drill holes in the panel to be installed for the plug weld, as shown in the figure.
Installation
1. Driver's side: Install the passenger compartment fuse/relay box.
2. Restore the insulating pads of the engine compartment partition.
3. Install the side door opening seal.
4. Replace the front carpet and install the front door sill trim.
5. Install the headliner.

6. Install the windshield.

7. Position the air supply duct at face level.
8. Replace the control panel.

9. Replace the front seat.

10. Install the front door.

11. Install the front fender in place.

12. Reinstall the front wheel arch liner.

13. Reinstall the wheel(s) and tighten the nuts to 115 Nm.
14. Connect all electronic units.
15. Connect the generator.
16. Connect the negative battery terminal.
