In this operation, the rear part of the side body panel and the front lower reinforcement of the rear panel are replaced together with the "B/C" pillar reinforcement panel.

Dismantling


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the generator.

3. Disconnect all electronic units.

4. Remove the wheel(s).

5. Remove the rear wheel arch extension.

6. Remove the rear wheel arch liner.

7. Remove the front seat belt.

PASSIVE SAFETY SYSTEMS, REPAIR WORK, Front inertia seat belt for a 3-door vehicle.


8. Remove the front door lock bracket from the B/C pillar.

9. Remove the rear seat.

10. Remove the rear side trim panel.

11. Remove the side door threshold trims.

12. Remove the door opening seal.

13. Release the floor mat from the inner sill panel and move it to the side.

14. Remove the rear side glass and its seal.

15. Remove the rear roof panel trim.

16. Remove the headliner.

17. Release the cable harness from the inner sill panel and move it to the side.

1. Remove damaged panels, prepare joint edges and install new panels in accordance with the Body Panel Repair Rules. Punch or drill holes in the panel to be installed for the plug weld, as shown in the figure.

Installation


1. Secure the cable harness to the inner sill panel.

2. Install the headliner.

3. Install the rear roof panel trim.

4. Install the rear side glass seal and the rear side glass.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Rear small glass assembly - 3-door car.


5. Secure the floor mat to the inner threshold.

6. Install the side door opening seal.

7. Install the side door opening threshold trim.

8. Install the rear side trim panel.

9. Replace the rear seat.

10. Install the front door lock bracket from the B/C pillar.

11. Reinstall the front seat belt.

12. Reinstall the rear wheel arch liner.

13. Install the rear wheel arch extension.

14. Reinstall the wheel(s) and tighten the nuts to 115 Nm.

15. Connect all electronic units.

16. Connect the generator.

17. Connect the negative battery terminal.
