Hill Descent Control Switch — Pre-2004 (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the gear shift knob.

2. Release the cover from the hill descent control switch.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch.

4. Loosen the bolt and remove the hill descent control switch.

Installation

1. Install the hill start assist switch and tighten the bolt to 5 Nm.

2. Connect the connector.

3. Install the cover.

4. Install the gear shift lever handle.
