1. Disconnect the battery.

2. On models with an airbag: Remove the driver's side airbag unit (see "Passive safety system").

3. On models without an airbag: Turn the steering wheel 90 degrees. Loosen the two screws securing the center wheel trim and remove the trim.

4. Disconnect the cruise control switch connector from the main wiring harness.

4. Disconnect the cruise control switch connector from the main wiring harness.


5. Disconnect the horn switch wires.

6. Remove the two screws securing the cruise control switch to the steering wheel.

7. Unscrew the 3 screws securing the switch bracket and remove the bracket.

8. Remove the switch.

9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
