Note: Models with manual transmission are equipped with a clutch pedal switch. The cruise control system can be activated at speeds above 45 km / h and automatically turns off at speeds below 42 km / h. The system also automatically shuts down when the engine speed is above 5000 rpm.
The cruise control system consists of the following elements:
Electronic control unit
The control unit processes signals sent by the driver when driving the vehicle through the control switch and through the brake and clutch pedal switches. Based on these signals, the cruise control system is switched on and off.
Main and control switches
The main cruise control switch is located on the auxiliary switch panel. The control switch is mounted on the steering column.
Brake pedal switch
The switch is mounted on the pedal bracket. Designed to quickly disable the cruise control system and switch the engine to idle mode when braking.
Clutch pedal switch
The switch is mounted on the pedal bracket. Designed to quickly disable the cruise control system and switch the engine to idle mode when shifting gears.
Vehicle speed sensor
The speed sensor is mounted on the transfer case next to the parking brake. Based on the sensor signals, the control unit calculates the vehicle speed. The speed control system can support driving mode at speeds above 45 km / h. If the speed drops below 42 km / h, the system shuts down automatically.

Vacuum pump
The vacuum pump is activated when the main switch and the brake and clutch pedal switches are closed. The pump creates a vacuum on the speed control system drive.
Drive
The drive is connected by a rod to the throttle lever, the shifting force is created by the vacuum from the vacuum pump.
Blocking relay (models with automatic transmission)
The relay blocks the operation of the cruise control system if the automatic transmission selector is in position N or P. The relay is located in the footwell on the right side behind the trim panel.
Speed limiter (models with automatic transmission)
Limiter (microprocessor) located at the feet on the right side behind the trim panel. The limiter blocks the operation of the cruise control system when the engine shaft speed exceeds 5000 rpm.
