Dismantling
1. With the help of a partner, remove the driveshaft assembly.

2. Bend back the stopper of the bolt securing the propeller shaft to the viscous coupling.

3. Loosen the bolt securing the propeller shaft to the viscous coupling and remove the fork washer.
4. To remove from the splines, insert the LRT-51-017 wedge between the bolt head and the universal joint yoke. Tighten the bolt in both directions to properly position the wedge between the yoke and the bolt head. Drive the wedge at a right angle to separate the components.
5. Adjust the position of the bolt as necessary to ensure the desired relative position of the bolt head and wedge.
6. Remove the bolt with the lock washer, slide the cardan shaft off the viscous coupling. Discard the lock washer and bolt if it has been damaged.
Installation
1. Wipe the mating surfaces and splines of the cardan shaft and viscous coupling.
2. Insert the cardan shaft into the splines of the viscous coupling and push it as far as possible.
3. Partially screw in the bolt with a new lock washer, insert a fork washer between the lock washer and the cardan joint fork.
4. Tighten the bolt to 65 Nm until the splines are fully seated and secure its head with a lock washer.
5. Install the driveshaft.
