Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Check that there is less than half of the fuel level in the tank. If there is more fuel, drain it so that less than half of the level remains.

3. Remove the plastic mudguard of the right rear wheel.

4. Remove the fuel tank filler cap.
CAUTION: Before disconnecting any part of the fuel system, thoroughly clean the surrounding area of dirt, dust and deposits to prevent foreign particles from entering the system.

5. Unfasten the lock cover from the filler neck.
CAUTION: Fuel vapors are highly flammable, and they are also toxic and explosive in a confined space. When working with fuel, it is necessary to have a foam type, carbon dioxide (CO₂), gas or powder fire extinguisher on hand.
6. Unscrew the 3 nuts securing the filler neck to the body.

7. Loosen the ventilation hose clamp and disconnect the ventilation hose from the filler pipe.
8. Release the fuel tank vent hose from the filler neck.
9. Disconnect the Lucar connector from the neck.

10. Unscrew the bolt securing the filler neck to the body.
11. Remove the protective cover of the filler pipe clamp and loosen the clamp.
12. Disconnect the filler pipe from the neck and remove the neck.
Installation
1. Install the neck, attach the filler pipe, tighten the clamp and put on the cap.
2. Screw in the bolt securing the filler neck to the body and tighten it to a torque of 9 Nm.
3. Attach the Lucar type connector to the neck.
4. Install the fuel tank vent hose to the filler neck.
5. Attach the ventilation hose to the filler neck and secure with a clamp.
6. Fit the nuts securing the filler neck to the body and tighten them to a torque of 9 Nm.
7. Fasten the lock cover to the filler neck.
8. Replace the filler cap.
9. Install the plastic mudguard of the right rear wheel.

10. Connect the negative battery terminal.
