Windshield washer reservoir (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure descriptions in this manual may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle securely.

2. Remove the right mudguard. Refer to procedure: Fender Mudguard (501-02 Front Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

3. Drain the fluid from the washer reservoir.

4. Remove the windshield washer reservoir. Tightening torque: 6 Nm



5. Remove the windshield washer pump.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the component is removed only for access.

6. Disconnect the headlight washer pump.

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
