The cruise control system is controlled by resistive ladder type switches. The signals from the resistive ladder are sent to the steering column module (located in the sliding contact block), which then sends the output signals via LIN (Local Interconnect Network) to the CJB (Central Junction Box). The CJB sends the cruise control signals via the high speed CAN (Controller Area Network) bus to the ECM (Engine Control Module).
