Removal and installation an electric heater (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure description may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging System - General Information, Specifications).

2. Remove the gear selector lever. Refer to the procedure: Selector assembly assembly (307-05 External automatic transmission/ transmission controls in the drive axle unit, Removal and installation). Refer to the procedure: Gearshift lever (308-06 External manual transmission controls in a block with a drive axle/ gearbox, Removal and installation).

3. Remove both protruding sections of the floor console.












7. Tightening torque: 2 Nm

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
