Diagnostic connector (Freelander 2)
The diagnostic socket is located under the steering column on the lower trim panel on the driver's side of the instrument panel. Various functions of the lighting system are monitored by different systems in the vehicle, which store fault codes in memory. These can be retrieved using the Land Rover approved diagnostic system.
