Selector assembly (Freelander 2)

Removal

1. Remove the floor console. Refer to procedure: Floor Console (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).

2. Move the gear selector lever to position "P".

3. Press and hold the selector cable ball joint release button and, using the lever, carefully disconnect the cable.

4. Release the cable.

5. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
