Removal



1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Disconnect the door seal at the bottom of the A-pillar.

3. Carefully remove the two floor panel mounting buttons and remove the panel.

4. Disconnect the three wiring connectors and speaker wires.

5. Remove the rubber plug from the A-pillar and pull the wires out of the door.

6. Open the door, but do not install it on the latch. Remove the open position lock pin.

Please note: The following operation is performed by two people.


7. Remove the retaining ring from the door pillar hinge, lift and remove the door.

Installation



8. Install the door, secure the hinge with a locking ring.

9. Install the new door open retainer pin.

10. Pass the wires inside the door, connect the connectors, install the rubber plug in the "A" pillar.

11. Install the cover panel.

12. Check the position of the door relative to the body and the operation of the door lock. Adjust if necessary.

13. The position of the door is adjusted by replacing the adjusting shims placed under the door hinges after loosening the six hinge mounting screws.

14. The position of the door plug is adjusted by moving the plug pin or by changing the adjusting linings installed between the plug and the "B" pillar.
