1. Remove the driver's airbag.
2. Remove the passenger airbag.
3. Remove the front panel trims.
4. Remove the heater.
5. Remove the cooling unit (air conditioning systems).
Models produced before 1997
6. Unscrew the three expansion tank mounting screws and place the tank aside.
7. Disconnect the shock sensor connectors.
8. Release the security system wiring harness from the clips.
9. Push the rubber plug of the bundle from the engine compartment bulkhead into the engine compartment, remove the wire bundle.
All models
10. Disconnect the security system control unit connector.
11. Release the bundle of wires under the mats.
12. Release the wire bundle from the clips in the passenger compartment.
13. Disconnect the connector on the steering column.
14. Remove the wire bundle.
15. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Strictly adhere to the beam route.
