Front shock absorbers (Discovery 1)

1. Loosen the wheel nuts.

2. Raise the front of the car, place it on stands under the frame, and remove the wheels.

3. Place a jack under the front axle and lift the axle.



4. Unscrew the nuts of the lower shock absorber support, remove the lower cap washer, cushion and cushion seat.

5. Unscrew the four bolts securing the shock absorber bracket.

6. Remove the shock absorber and bracket.

7. Assemble the upper cap washer, cushion and cushion seat.



8. Unscrew the bracket mounting nut.

9. Remove the bracket from the shock absorber.

10. Remove the shock absorber travel limiter components.

11. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
