Front suspension springs (Discovery 1)

1. Remove the shock absorber.

Caution: Do not damage the brake hose. If necessary, loosen the hose connection to the bridge.

2. Lower the front axle until the springs are released.

3. Remove the springs.

4. Select the shock absorber bracket retainer.



5. Before installing the spring, secure the bracket retainer with one or two nuts.

6. Install the springs.

7. Remove the shock absorber bracket retainer support nuts.

8. Install the front shock absorber.
