Technical conditions

Contacts	Position	Resistance
1 and 3	The button is released	Infinity
1 and 3	The button is pressed	Zero

Make sure the ignition is off.

Disconnect the inertia switch electrical connector.

Remove the switch.

Flip the switch.

Lightly tap the side of the inertia switch.

Measure the resistance between the contacts of the inertia switch.

Press the switch button when measuring resistance.

Replace the inertia switch.

Before installing the inertia switch, check the fuel system for leaks.
