Troubleshooting (Discovery 1)

All V8i engines require the TESTBOOK diagnostic tester to diagnose the control system. Before connecting the tester, perform the following preliminary checks:

1. Check the condition of the inertia switch (ON - OFF).

2. Check the fuses.

3. Check that there is fuel in the tank.

4. Check the tightness of the intake system.

5. Check that the high-voltage wires are connected correctly.

6. Check the ignition timing angle.
