Note: Before removing the injectors, unscrew the spark plugs; the presence of soot deposits on the spark plug insulator indicates that the injector for that cylinder is faulty.

Leak test
Apply a pressure of 2.5 bar to the injector: no more than 2 drops of fuel should form on the tip of the injector nozzle within one minute.
Checking the flow characteristics
Supply fuel to the injector under a pressure of 2.5 bar, supply power from the battery to the injector valve; for one minute at 20±2°C, 180-195 cm³ of fuel (petrol) should pass through the injector.
