Idle air control valve (Discovery 1)

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Disconnect the valve connector.

3. Unscrew the bolts securing the valve to the resonance chamber and remove the valve.



4. Replace the sealing washer.

5. Clean the threads from any remaining locking adhesive.

6. Apply Locfite 241 locking adhesive to the bolt threads, install the valve in place, and tighten the bolts to 20 Nm.
