Engine control unit (14 CUX) (Discovery 1)

Note: The control unit cannot be repaired.

1. Remove the right front panel hatch.

2. Remove the trim panel in the footwell.

3. Disconnect the battery.

4. Disconnect the control unit connector retaining clip.

5. Disconnect the front part of the connector and, moving the connector in the direction of the arrow (see picture), remove the connector latch from the loop.

6. Unscrew the two screws securing the control unit.

7. Remove the control unit from the bracket.

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
