Removal



1. Relieve residual fuel pressure

2. Disconnect the battery.

3. Remove the resonance chamber.

4. Remove the Ventura nozzle housing. Plug the intake channels with a rag.

5. Disconnect the fuel return line and vacuum hose from the pressure regulator.

6. Unscrew the nut securing the fuel supply line to the fuel manifold..

7. Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor connector.

8. Disconnect the injector connectors.

9. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the fuel manifold to the intake manifold. Move the wires to the side.

10. Remove the fuel manifold with injectors.

11. Disconnect the injector mounting clips and remove the injectors. Remove the sealing rings from the injectors.

12. If necessary, remove the pressure regulator. Installation.

13. Place new sealing rings on the injectors. Lubricate the rings with silicone grease. Install the injectors into the manifold with the connectors facing outward.

14. Secure the injectors with clips.

Note: Be careful not to damage the injector seals when installing them into the fuel and intake manifolds.


15. Reinstall the removed parts.

16. Start the fuel pump and check for fuel leaks.
