Venturi nozzle housing (Discovery 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the resonance chamber.

3. Disconnect the hoses from the nozzle body.

4. Unscrew the six bolts securing the nozzle housing to the intake manifold.



5. Remove the attachment housing.

6. Plug the air inlet openings with a rag.

Installation

7. Clean the mating surfaces of the nozzle housing and the intake manifold.

8. Apply sealant to the intake manifold mating surface.

9. Install the attachment body. Tighten the mounting bolts from the center to the periphery in a diagonal order to a torque of 26 N·m.
