Removal



1. Remove the cotter pin securing the cable to the throttle lever.

2. Carefully remove the adjustment assembly from the bracket.

3. Remove the cable from the bracket.

3. Remove the cable from the bracket.


4. Disconnect the cable from the clip in the engine compartment.

5. Remove the lower trim panel.

6. Disconnect the cable from the accelerator pedal, loosen the lock nut.

7. Pull the cable into the engine compartment.

7. Pull the cable into the engine compartment.


Installation



8. Route the cable from the engine compartment into the passenger compartment.

9. Connect the cable to the pedal.

10. Connect the cable to the throttle lever. Install a new cotter pin.

11. Secure the cable with a clip in the engine compartment.

12. Adjust the cable to 1.57 mm of deflection. Check the throttle operation.
