Fuel filter (Discovery 1)

Note: Observe fire safety precautions.


1. Relieve residual pressure in the fuel system.

2. Access to the filter is through the right rear wheel arch.

3. Clean any dirt from the places where the fuel lines are connected to the filter. Clamp both fuel lines to prevent fuel from leaking.

4. Unscrew the nuts securing the fuel lines to the filter.

5. Loosen the fuel filter clamp bolt and remove the filter.

5. Loosen the fuel filter clamp bolt and remove the filter.


6. Install the new filter according to the flow direction arrow.

7. Tighten the filter clamp bolt.

8. Connect the fuel lines and tighten the mounting nuts to a torque of 30 Nm.

9. Reinstall the removed parts.

10. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
