Vehicle speed sensor (Discovery 1)

The sensor is installed on the left side of the transfer case.

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Apply the parking brake and raise the car on the lift.

3. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.

4. Loosen the sensor mounting screw.

5. Remove the sensor.
