Dismantling


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover.

3. Disconnect the connector from the idle speed control valve.

4. Press the shoulders and remove the vacuum hose from the idle air control valve housing.

4. Press the shoulders and remove the vacuum hose from the idle air control valve housing.


5. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the idle speed control valve to the throttle body.

6. Remove the idle air control valve and discard the gasket.

Installation


1. Wipe the mating surfaces of the idle speed control valve and throttle body.

2. Install a new gasket on the idle speed control valve.

3. Install the idle speed control valve, screw in the mounting bolts and tighten them.



4. Connect the vacuum hose to the idle air control valve.

5. Connect the connector to the idle speed control valve.

6. Reinstall the engine soundproofing cover.

7. Connect the negative battery terminal.
