Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Remove a noise-insulating casing of the engine.
KV6 ENGINE - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Noise-insulating casing of the engine.
3. Release the camshaft position sensor harness connector from the bracket and disconnect the connector.
4. Remove the connector bracket bolt and release the sensor wire harness from the bracket.
5. Turn away a bolt of fastening of the gauge of position of a cam-shaft to a valve cover.
6. Remove the camshaft position sensor (CMP) and discard the sealing washer.
Installation
1. Wipe the camshaft position sensor (CMP) and mating surfaces.
2. Lubricate the new seal with clean engine oil and install it over the sensor.
3. Install the engine camshaft position sensor in place, screw in the mounting screw and tighten it to 8 Nm.
4. Pass the sensor wire harness behind the connector mounting bracket, install the connector, screw in the bolt and tighten it to a torque of 8 Nm.
5. Attach the camshaft position sensor connector and secure it to the bracket.
6. Replace the engine soundproof cover.

7. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
