Repair — camshaft position sensor (Discovery 1)

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Raise the car on a lift.



3. Release the sensor connector from the clip on the front cover.

4. Disconnect the sensor connector.



5. Unscrew the sensor mounting bolt.

6. Remove the sensor.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Replace the sensor sealing ring and tighten the mounting bolt to 8 Nm.
