Crankshaft position sensor (Discovery 1)

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Raise the car on a lift.



3. Unscrew the two bolts securing the sensor and protection.

4. Remove the sensor and protection.

5. Disconnect the sensor connector and remove the adjusting spacer.

6. Installation is carried out in reverse order, the tightening torque of the sensor bolts is 6 Nm.
