Air flow sensor (Discovery 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery.



2. Disconnect the intake manifold air hose from the sensor.

3. Disconnect the sensor connector.

4. Unfasten the two clips securing the sensor to the air filter

5. Discard the sealing ring.

Installation

6. Clean the sensor mounting locations.

7. Install a new sealing ring onto the sensor.

8. Fasten the clips securing the sensor to the air filter.

9. Attach the intake manifold hose to the sensor.

Caution: Leaks in connections will cause engine problems.

10. Reinstall the removed parts.
