Fuel pressure regulator (Discovery 1)

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Relieve residual fuel pressure.

2. Relieve residual fuel pressure.


3. After releasing the pressure, tighten the supply hose fastening nut.

4. Disconnect the return heat line from the pressure regulator.

5. Plug the holes.

6. Unscrew the 4 nuts securing the ignition coil bracket.

7. Remove the bracket from the studs and move it together with the coil to the side.

8. Remove the regulator tube from the supporting clip.

9. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the regulator.

9. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the regulator.


10. Unscrew the two bolts securing the regulator to the fuel manifold.

11. Remove the regulator.

11. Remove the regulator.


12. Remove the O-ring and spacer from the regulator and discard the O-ring.



13. Disconnect the tube from the regulator.

14. Plug the regulator and fuel manifold openings.

15. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Install new sealing rings. Tightening torque of mounting bolts: 10 Nm.
