Attention: Observe fire safety precautions.
1. Relieve residual fuel pressure.
2. Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it on stands.
3. Clean the connection points of the fuel lines to the filter. Clamp the fuel lines to prevent fuel from leaking.

4. Disconnect the fuel hoses and discard the sealing rings.
Caution: Use two wrenches when disconnecting the hoses.
5. Unscrew the bolt and nut securing the filter to the frame and remove the filter.
6. Install the new filter according to the flow direction arrow.
7. Secure the filter to the frame.
8. Install new O-rings on the fuel hoses. Lubricate the rings with clean fuel.
9. Tighten the hose fasteners to 18 Nm.
Note: Use two wrenches when tightening.
10. Lower the vehicle.
11. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
