The fuel pump and level sensor are installed in the fuel tank; a pressure sensor is installed on the upper flange of the pump, which cannot be removed from the pump. Access to the pump is through a hatch in the floor of the cargo compartment.
Attention: Observe fire safety precautions. Before disconnecting the fasteners, clean them from dirt.
Removal
1. Relieve residual fuel pressure.
2. Disconnect the battery.
3. If the tank is full, drain at least 9 liters of fuel.
4. Unscrew the 6 screws securing the rear door trim and remove the trim.

5. Remove the right side panel of the luggage compartment, see. "Body".
6. Remove the mat and noise insulation to access the hatch.
7. Unscrew the 6 hatch mounting screws

8. Remove the hatch.
9. Disconnect the fuel pump and fuel pressure sensor connectors.
10. Remove the vent hose from the fuel pressure sensor.

11. Mark the connection points of the fuel hoses, press the black latches of the hose connector, and disconnect the connector.
12. Using the LRT-19-009 key, unscrew the locking ring.
13. Remove the pump using the special loops. Do not use fuel line fittings for lifting.

14. Remove and discard the seals.
Installation
15. Install a new gasket on the fuel tank neck.
16. Lower the pump into the tank so that the tab on the upper flange fits into the slot in the neck.
17. Install the retaining ring and tighten it to a torque of 35 Nm.
18. Reinstall the removed parts.
