Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
WARNING: Fuel vapors are highly flammable and in an enclosed area are also toxic and explosive. When working with fuel, it is necessary to have a foam type, carbon dioxide fire extinguisher at hand (CO2), gas or powder.
2. Remove the intake manifold gaskets.
MANIFOLDS AND EXHAUST SYSTEM - Td4, REPAIRS, Intake manifold gaskets.
3. Remove the starter.
SYSTEM OF STARTING THE ENGINE AND CHARGING THE BATTERY, REPAIR WORKS, Starter - engine Td4.
4. Lay out a rag to collect escaping fuel.
CAUTION: Before disconnecting or removing system components, make sure that the surfaces adjacent to the connection points are free of dirt. Install plugs in fittings and piping to keep dirt out of the system.
5. Disconnect the connector from the fuel pressure regulator.
6. Turn away 2 screws of fastening and carefully remove a regulator of pressure of fuel. Dispose of 2 pads.
Installation
1. Wipe down pressure regulator and mating surfaces.
2. Install new gaskets on the fuel pressure regulator.
3. Install the pressure regulator and tighten the screws to 9 Nm.
4. Reinstall the starter.

5. Install the intake manifold gaskets.
MANIFOLDS AND EXHAUST SYSTEM - Td4, REPAIRS, Intake manifold gaskets.
6. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
