Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Turn away a bolt of fastening of a casing of the fuel-priming pump to an arm.
WARNING: Fuel vapors are highly flammable and in an enclosed area are also toxic and explosive. When working with fuel, it is necessary to have a foam type, carbon dioxide fire extinguisher at hand (CO2), gas or powder.
3. Lift and tilt the pump casing away from the bracket.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel priming pump.
5. Lay out a rag to collect escaping fuel.
6. Disconnect the fuel hoses with quick connectors from the pump and from the fuel filter.
CAUTION: Always plug fittings and openings to keep dirt out of the system.
7. Remove the fuel priming pump.
8. Release the clamp and remove the hoses from the fuel priming pump.
Installation
1. Connect the fuel hoses to the fuel priming pump and secure them with clamps.
2. Insert the fuel priming pump into the casing.
3. Connect the fuel hoses with quick connectors to the pump and to the fuel filter.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the fuel priming pump.
5. Install the cover on the bracket and secure with the bolt.
6. Remove the rags laid out earlier.
7. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
