Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
WARNING: Fuel vapors are highly flammable and in an enclosed area are also toxic and explosive. When working with fuel, it is necessary to have a foam type, carbon dioxide fire extinguisher at hand (CO2), gas or powder.
2. Lay out a rag to collect escaping fuel.
CAUTION: Fuel leakage is inevitable during this operation. Take safety precautions to prevent fire or explosion.
3. Disconnect the fuel pipes with quick connectors from the bimetallic valve.
CAUTION: Always plug fittings and openings to keep dirt out of the system.
4. Release a collar and remove a hose from the valve.
5. Remove the bimetallic valve.
NOTE: If disassembly was carried out only to provide access to other elements of the system, then further disassembly operations should not be performed.
6. Release the clamp and remove the hose from the valve.
Installation
1. Connect the fuel hose to the bimetal valve and secure it with clamps.
2. Install the bimetal valve.
3. Connect the fuel hose to the bimetallic valve and secure it with clamps.
4. Connect the fuel lines with quick connectors to the bimetal valve.
5. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
