Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) 4.0L (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove the engine cover. For more information, refer to Engine Cover - 4.0L (12.30.50)

3. Remove the CMR sensor.

• Disconnect the electrical connector.
• Remove the bolt.

Installation

1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.

• Clean the mating surfaces of the elements.
• Lubricate the new O-ring with clean engine oil.
• Tighten the bolt (tightening torque 6 Nm).
