Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 4.0L (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, please refer to the Specification.

2. Remove the throttle body gasket. For more information, refer to Throttle Body Gasket.

3. Remove the ECT sensor.

• Place an absorbent cloth to absorb any spilled liquid.
• Disconnect the electrical connector.
• Remove the sealing ring and discard it.

Installation

1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
