Knock sensor left (KS) 4.0L (Discovery 3)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. For more information, refer to Specification.

2. Remove KS.

• Disconnect the electrical connector.
• Release the knock sensor electrical connector clamps.
• Remove the bolt.

Installation

1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.

• Clean the contact surfaces of the parts.
• Tighten the bolt (tightening torque 20 Nm).
