Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the left intake manifold.
COLLECTORS AND EXHAUST SYSTEM: MOD. K, V6 engine, REPAIR WORK, Intake manifold gaskets, left side.
3. Disconnect the connector from the sensor.
4. Mark the wiring route for each sensor.
5. Loosen the two bolts securing the knock sensor (KS) to the cylinder block and remove the sensor.
Installation
1. Wipe the knock sensor (KS) and mating surfaces on the cylinder block.
2. Install the knock sensor, checking the wiring harness route, screw in the bolts and tighten them to 25 Nm.
3. Connect the connector to the knock sensor (KS).
4. Install the left intake manifold.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
