Combined Manifold Pressure (MAP/IAT) Sensor (Freelander 1)

Combined intake manifold pressure and intake air temperature sensor (MAP/IAT).

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the engine soundproofing cover.

ENGINE KV6 - MODIFICATION K, Camshafts of the left cylinder head, Soundproofing engine casing.

3. Disconnect the connector from the air flow/temperature sensor (MAF/IAT).



4. Unscrew the 2 screws securing the sensor to the intake manifold and remove the sensor.

Installation

1. Clean the mating surfaces of the sensor and intake manifold.

2. Install the sensor, screw in the bolts and tighten them.

3. Connect the connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.

4. Reinstall the engine soundproofing cover.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
