Engine Control Module (ECM) (Freelander 1)

Except for North American market countries.

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.



2. Unscrew the 5 screws securing the cover of the mounting box and remove the cover.



3. Unfasten the latch and disconnect the connector from the control unit.



4. Remove the engine control module (ECM) from the mounting box.

Installation

1. Install the engine control module (ECM) into the mounting box.

2. Connect the connector to the engine control unit and secure the latch.

3. Install the cover of the mounting box, screw in the screws and tighten them to a torque of 2 Nm.

4. Connect the negative battery terminal.
