Engine control unit (Discovery 1)

Note: A defective unit cannot be repaired.

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the A-pillar trim panel.



3. Loosen the screw securing the control unit connector.

4. Disconnect the control unit connector.

5. Move the bundle of wires to the side.

6. Unscrew the control unit mounting nuts.

7. Remove the block from the support.

8. Installation in reverse order.
