Checking the boost pressure (Discovery 1)

Pressure value - cm. "Adjustment data, 300 Tdi engine".



1. Disconnect the hose from the bypass valve actuator diaphragm (on the turbocharger).

2. Connect the tee to the hose and connect one free end of the tee to the compressor snail.

3. Connect a pressure gauge with a 1 bar reading to the remaining free end of the tee. The gauge hose must be long enough to be installed in the passenger compartment.

4. Check the boost pressure while driving uphill with the accelerator pedal fully depressed and the engine speed at 2500-3000 rpm.
