Turbocharger oil drain pipe (Discovery 1)

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the exhaust pipe.



3. Unscrew the nut securing the tube to the block.

4. Unscrew the two bolts securing the tube to the turbocharger.

5. Remove the tube and discard the gasket.

Installation

6. Wipe the mating surfaces of the tube and turbocharger.

7. Reinstall the removed parts.

8. Install a new gasket, tightening torque of the tube mounting bolts 25 Nm.

9. Check the oil level.
