Fuel filter (Discovery 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Clean the surfaces of the filter bracket at the connector of the removable element.

3. Place a container under the filter to collect the fuel.



4. Loosen the drain screw.

5. Unscrew the drain plug and drain the fuel.

6. Unscrew the filter element.

Installation

7. Clean the mating surface of the filter bracket.

8. Lubricate the filter element seal with clean fuel.

9. Tighten the filter element by hand.

10. Connect the battery.

11. Start the engine.
